Good hair salon for lady in her sixties?

    Hi folks,

Okay so my mum has a big event this weekend and wants to get a new haircut. She's very stylish and in her early sixties. Why doesn't she just wander into the nearest Peter Marks/Toni&Guy/etc? Well she feels they look at her and think 'old' and so give her an old lady haircut. Not nice.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a brilliant salon or stylist who'd actually look at her hair and give it a really good cut? She's in Rathmines so town or south city would be perfect.

    Thanks boards!

I have heard this salon is very good for older stylish ladies but I don't have experience myself

I think it's on Dawson St.

I know of an independant one that caters for all 3 generations of the wimmins in my house. However it's on the Northside (Kilester/Raheny/Artane area). If you don't get a better offer then PM me.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
