Best trainers?

    Hey all,

My trainers have recently died & I'm looking to purchase a decent pair of runners that I can do some road running with. Also looking as to where the best place in Dublin city center is to by runners. I'm 6'3" and can get pretty sore shins when I do a lot of running so looking for something with decent support.

    Any advice welcome

I've found Elverys great. If they don't have your size they'll ring around to another branch and order it to be transferred to your branch.

Personally I go with Asics Gel Kayano. Plus if you're getting sore shins it could be worth running offroad / in pitches / on beaches instead. I rarely run roads at all any more and get no complaints from my body.

There are no "best trainers", only the right ones for you. :)

Go to a proper running shop, Runways in Parnell St or Amphibian King in Bray.

Same here, but I *hate* the 16's, so I've got to find myself something new once my current pair of 15's wears out. :(
