I paid €200 for this 300d.drove it back from Kerry to Kilkenny without a hitch,Interior is filthy but could be cleaned,sump has a small crack leaking oil,but no rust.
Worth checking on Donedeal for comparable prices.
The road tax is the killer for these things,its a shame:(

Can't see you getting €1500 for it I'm afraid, apart from the tax issue steel wheels and cloth interior go against it. The rusty wings don't help either, common problem but they'd cost around €200 each side to get fixed. I'd say your best bet is to aim at the taxi/hackney market, I think they can tax it for €80 or so.

First thing to do is take it down of adverts, all you get are flutes offering silly money for it and wanting to swap sh!te.

Im gonna stick my neck on the line here and say that it will make 11-1200 quid on donedeal.ie and I'd hold out for it to be honest. Keep the ad bumped every 3 days for the first week or so and if you get no positve response at that stage then drop it down a little bit.

ye tax is the only killer, i'm gonna leave it up on adverts for a we while, see how it goes, got a call on it this morning gonna show a guy it in Blanchardstown tomorrow afternoon, so fingers crossed, i'll let you know, but jeeeeeeeeeez it's a super car to drive.

Nice car Christian. It is however a 300D, not E300.

Thats not comparing apples with apples. OP's car has nearly 100k less, has a long NCT as opposed to the one in this ad plus its 2 years younger.

I sold an 1992 250 diesel for €700 last October, she had 240 000 miles on her, ex taxi and wouldn't stop on the key, she had to be stalled (vac line snapped).
