Hi, i'm in the middle of doing my C25k programme. But i got sick a few days ago. Missed my run last night as i felt like crap. Feeling better to day but i still have a cold.
Is it bad to run with a cold? Or is it actually a good idea to run with it (sweat it out of me perhaps?)??

    Zak.

They normally say that from the head up, it is ok to run. But anything from the neck down you shouldn't. In saying that i have been Ignoring my own advice over the last few days by running (all be it very easily0 with a bit of a chesty cough.

Stay away from running... training for Cork marathon and got a chest infection over a month ago but still went out doing 50-60 miles a week. Now because I didn’t let up for a week or so to clear it properly I'm after two different courses or antibiotics, two lots of steroids (great for interval training :p) and an inhaler.
