My Sister had a mishap with her car today, she hit a pillar:rolleyes: and the passenger door now has a large dent.

Anyway to cut a long story short > she's a student and she can't afford to bring it to a body shop, so is there any DIY tool kit out there that can at least improve/lessen the appearance of the dent ?

    how about this kit ?

    any advice appreciated

New door from a scrap yard?

If the halfords product could fix that door, they'd charge more than €29 for it!

Yeah a new door or a panel beater are needed for that!

No tool kit will fix that, it's a replacement door from a scrap dealer you need. A panel beater can probably fix it but the cost is likely to be cheaper to just get another door.

Quite lucky really. Could easily have been looking at the destroyed wing, cill & both doors. She managed to get all the damage on the door with a small bit on the wing. If cash is tight, look for a door in the proper colour, bolt it on & leave the damage on the wing. If you want to spend a bit more, get a bodyshop & replace door, fix wing & paint
