I am leaving the country in the middle of the year and returning early next year. I will be getting a P45 from my current employer on leaving.

What do I do with it?

Where do I get a P60 from at the end of the year?

You can submit your P45 to the revenue along with a form called a P50(downloadable from revenue website) and you may be able to claim any tax back that you have paid from Jan 1 to date.
Besides that othing really that you need to do with your P45 besides hold on to it.
You will not receive a P60 at you will not be in employment at the 31st December 2010.
You will need to contact the revenue on your return to get them to issue you with a new tax cert when you return(if they dont automatically do so after the budget).
