NTL trouble

    I am having a repeated error message 107 displayed on most of my channels with no reception. I have gone thru the troubleshooting list as prompted by the NTL helpline. When I called and talked to an agent I was told that the signal needed to be boosted to my box??? If the signal in Navan is fine, then surely the issue is as simple as getting me out a new box. Is there such a procedure as boosting the signal to an ntl box or would there b a case there for being suspicious?

    Does nobody have any similar stories about being told that the signal was being boosted? It sounds like a bit of a cop out to me

    as far as i know its a load of crap they just say it to get you off the phone
