Hi folks, I have to buy a laptop and am looking at a dell studio 15. Just wondering what is the best way of buying one? Would you get a better deal online or on the phone to a rep?

It's well worth ringing them first to see if the rep can beat the online price.

Generally speaking it depends on who you get on the phone, their targets, and how close they are to their deadlines...

No jdoctor, they were quoting me the same price as online. A friend of mine works in Dell so I hopefully will get it through with a 10% discount.
