    Does anyone know where this originated...
    The Dumbell Matrix is taking an overhand grip, then doing an in-line curl; then an external rotation (so the hand that is holding the weight is pulled up but also away from the centerline of the body, then returned into place); then taking the weight towards the opposite hip/upper thigh, and pulling it across the body, so it finishes close to the shoulder. These are done with light weight and alternating arms.
