Facial scar

I have a small scar under my chin from a recent fall. Its healed perfectly flat and not really noticeable apart from the fine red line from the stitches.

I recently shaved off my beard and now I can see it but what I'd like to do is accelerate the healing and reduce the red line.

Is there anything I can get to do this over the counter ? and what sort of results can I expect ?

You can try vitamin E oil, or just open a vitamin E capsule and rub it gently onto the scar.

It won't make it go away, but it could help to fade it.

I think Bio Oil can be used for scarring, but someone will have to confirm that.

Bio Oil, I got a mole removed last year and had a big ugly scar on my neck after it. Its healing up nicely and not as noticeable since I started using it.
