Buying Make-up online

Was just wondering where you all buy your make-up from, shops, online etc?

I'm looking for somewhere that stocks Givenchy products, Yves Saint Laurent and some Elizabeth Arden aswell if possible.

Just looked up Strawberrynet and even their Dermalogica is way overpriced so i'm thinking their make-up is the same.

Am heading to Lanzarote on holidays so is the airport cheaper or even over there as there are millions of make-up shops in Lanzarote, anyone ever bought make-up on holidays?

Any ideas or help as i'm using last of everything and need to stock up.

P.S. Just read Prescriptives counter is closed in BT's, are they still selling in Dundrum?

Thanks, will look up that website.

P.S. Jerseybeauty.com is cheaper than Adonis for Dermalogica btw, also free shipping. Recently found an even cheaper place for Dermalogica, lookinggoodguy.com. They charge delivery but still work out cheaper than all the rest!

    Asos
    Fragrance Direct
    SalonSkincare

    HTH.

I use www.cdwow.ie for Benefit makeup - it is legit and was delivered by registered post and all wrapped up like gifts in silver paper, inside a box with protective packaging. I have to say I was highly impressed. Each item was in it's own box!!

I have also used www.directcosmetics.com which had fast delivery.

Thanks dancingqueen, I'll check those sites out!

I stopped using Strawberrynet when I realised Kerastase was dearer on their website than it was in Petermarks. Now they won't allow Irish customers to buy in $ so it's too expensive.

I've used cdwow, adonisgrooming and kudos beauty. Cdwow doesn't have a huge range but it's cheap if you see something there you like. I suspect they buy from strawberrynet or similar because the packaging looks very similar to SN and it originates in Hong Kong. They stock Bobby Brown which is great.

Salonskincare and Feelunique look like good sites too. Beaut.ie have a discount on feelunique so check out their website before buying.

I rarely buy in stores anymore as we're definitely being ripped off in ROI compared to UK.

Hey! I don't use credit card I use a 3v card it is very handy you should get yourself one, you just buy top ups in the shop for it so you know how much is going on the card plus they are run by visa so it's pretty safe aswell.

Order your card for free here... http://3v.ie

Has anyone had much experience with adonisgrooming.com? I placed an order last night and after putting in my credit card details, I got my order number and it stated that I'd recieve a confirmation email. Still haven't gotten an email and when I go back onto the site it still says that I have four items in my basket. I'm just a bit worried that my order didn't go through, even though my visa details did! this wouldn't be the norm usually when shopping online.

what does your statement say? That happened to me before where I didnt get the goods for a few days, so I called them.. the order hasnt been processed properly..I would say just call them..

well my statement doesn't say anything yet. it was only about 10 last night i placed the order and usually my visa wouldnt update til maybe later today/tomorrow. it's not ringing either and wont let me submit my message to them on the website, so dunno what to do. I'll try ringing them again when I go into work, maybe there's just no one on the phones at the moment.

No, it's all fake. It's obvious from the home page. Don't buy. You might not get anything sent, and if you do it will be cheap fakes from China.

Ok thank you i think i will just stick to buying it in Brown Thomas where i know its good :)

CAREFUL with strawberrynet, they got done for selling fake MAC.
In fact a lot of places sell fake MAC, just for how to spot fakes, here's a post of mine from a while back from the Adverts support forum:
