    Hi ppl

I know none of you are doctors or maybe you are?! But I'm looking for advice on anxiety/panic attacks/depression for my boyfriend. He's having to resign his job after 12 years under false accusations from his employer. That aside is mentally challenging but he also has worries over finance and his ability to get a new job/career sorted out for himself. He' got anxiety tabs, I don't know what they are but his doc said not to take them that often as they are addictive. Does anyone have any advide on herbal tablets for anxiety/panic attacks? I'd really appreciate any feedback you may have.

    Thanks!

Get him to go to another doctor if he feels he's not getting the best treatment he could.

speaking from personal experience it sounds like he has been given a mild sedative like xanax. These work short-term, 12 hours and relieve anxiety/panic attacks. They are not a solution. They are very addictive so i would use them sparingly.

Is his anxiety severe? been going on a few weeks/months? getting worse?
If the answer is yes to all of the above he will need more help, from my experience the best help/solution is long term medication with counseling/ cognitive behavourial therapy. This has helped me. I am not a doctor so im not giving medical advice. I would go back to the doctor and ask for more help.

    Hi guys..

Thanks for your advice. Yes he is getting a little worse, so yes I think cognative behavioural therapy and a visit to the doc is defo required! I just thought there might be something that was on the market that is a herbal remedy that he can't get addicted to that would help him sleep and stop getting the anxiety/panic attacks.

i'm sorry but we can't give any form of medical advice here. Your BF needs to speak directly with his doctor if he feels his symptoms are getting worse.

    Cheers
