Which would be the best do you think?

Anyone have any experience with them and care to share?

I know continental use 757 and the others use 767

the 757 was always a bit shabby and cramped for long haul IMO but not flown on A.C or Delta before, what are they like from dublin?

I've flown Delta and Air Canada albeit a few years a part with the last time being Delta three/four years ago

I enjoyed AC more than I did Delta. Just seemed 'nicer' and I can't really put it down to much more than an impression/feeling since it's been quite a while on both counts. Both experiences were post September 11, with multiple hops and/or aircraft types.

Continental have AVOD in the 757's now so its fine. Comparable to Delta IMO, I've gone over with Continental many times and never found anything shabby about it (few years ago it was, granted)

Kinda depends on where you're going :)
    • Air Canada seems to be putting their old 767's on the route this summer - no AVOD
    • Delta seem to be using the 767-400 for most of this year - no AVOD
    • Continental will use the narrow 757 which can be very cramped if you get a window seat but you will have AVOD

    All comparable food/service-wise - nothing special . . . but nice :)

    *Update*

Delta now have AVOD on all 767-400's so if you get the 2-seaters next to the window (AC - HK) then its probably the nicest ride over :)

Yeah, the 757s aren't really much of a problem trans-Atlantic, especially if you're in a window or aisle seat. With Continental's decent IFE and service, you don't really notice it.
If you pick up a good business class deal Delta's business class on the 767 is a bit better than Continental's 757. But, depending on the time of year and demand, Delta may also use a 757 to JFK. I have no experience of Air Canada (yet). In any case Delta are also a joy to fly with, but you don't get Continental airmiles with them any more...
The other advantage I suppose(assuming your final destination is USA and not Canada), is that going CO or DL, you'll clear US immigration in Dublin.

I use Continental anytime i travel to the states. Their AVOD system is excellent and if you're just heading to New York i find Newark much more convenient than JFK. Also, terminal 3 in JFK is where Delta fly in and out of and it's horrible.

I'm biased against JFK because i've had some horrendous delays flying home from there,Newark is generally easier especially now as the Bay Runway at JFK is closed until late june for re-surfacing.
