    SD

Smackdown was nothing special, I am not even sure you can call it a show. I know they are going to be doing the taping live at Axxess, but this is ridiculous.

They did the SmackDown opening and the pyro hit.

    1. Drew McIntyre, Kane, Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy, and Dolph Ziggler beat Christian, MVP, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, and Evan Bourne in a 10-man Smackdown vs Raw MITB tag match. The entrants for the six man tag match came out one at a time. This seemed like forever. But what was worse was this match sucked. We started shouting at them to call for the ending. I just couldn't take it anymore. The end came when Christian sling shot Ziggler into the turnbuckle and than hit the kill switch.

Drew McIntyre than came in and hit Christian with a double arm DDT and pinned him for the win. His team semi-celebrated with him and everyone began to leave. Drew stood behind while the others were leaving. He than stepped out of the ring and pulled a ladder from underneath and set it up in the ring. He put it nowhere near where the Money in the Bank briefcase was at, but began climbing it anyways. The group turned around and went back to the ring. They all pushed Drew off the ladder, then Kane tossed the ladder onto drew.

    2. Vickie Guerrero, Michelle McCool, Layla, Alicia Fox, and Maryse defeated Beth Phoenix in a handicap match. I have to say we already knew what was going to happen with Vickie making it a handicap match. It was really pointless except to get the women on the show all at once. I do however want to mention that Vickie Guerrero is the most over "heel" in the WWE. I swear, I wish all "heels" got her heat. C.M. Punk who is massively over, does not draw as much heat as Vickie.

The match again was nothing special, and by now was really making me want to head home to watch Raw. Funny cause the taping had just finished. I would like to say that I think Beth is starting to get over, she just needs the Lita to her Trish. I think bringing in Awesome Kong to feud with her would blow the roof off of the woman's devision and take it away from that garbage that this match was. Anyway, after the heels caused Vickie to get the win over Beth, they continued to beat on her and then proceeded to hold her down.

They told Vickie to do the Frog Splash, which by the way I would have paid to see. It was too good to be true though, and the faces made the save. Once the ring was cleared, Vickie was left with Beth who proceeded to strip Vickie down to her Granny Panties. Pretty funny cause they said, "excuse me."

Yes, after a really bad start, could it get any worse? No way, not with Jericho still to come. Break the Walls Down hit, and out came the best in the world to a chorus of boos. I honestly could not hear what he was saying. I know I heard him say his DNA was better than Edge's. People in my section were just on Jericho, probably because we where cheering him.

We were kind of harsh on guy's like Cena and Mysterio because it was fun. I kept telling everyone to be quiet and show respect for the best in the world. It didn't work, which made this a throwaway for me. Once Edge came out, the crowed slightly popped. I think the boos for Jericho were way louder than the cheers for Edge. It was really like no one cared. Edge beat up on Jericho a little and than set up for a spear. Jericho got out of the way and headed to the back. Edge found the world title belt and held it inn the ring with the WrestleMania sign in the background.

Finally, John Morrison came out and introduced R-Truth who made me sick with his stupid theme song. The two tried to recreate some Morrison and Miz magic by talking smack about ShowMiz. They cracked some childish jokes, and the kiddies laughed. It was about this time that I had to tap out, they were killing me. I sure as hell hope Morrison turns on Truth this Sunday to make up for what garbage this was. Finally ShowMiz came out and a match took place between Big Show and Truth.

Believe me, it was not as exciting as it sounds. All I really no is that there was no finish to the match. I would believe that it was a DQ on Truth because the bell was called for after Morrison interfered. Yet there was no official announcement. The faces beat up the heels, including one seemingly stiff kick to shows face of the Big Show by Morrison. The faces left and Chimel announced that ShowMIz were still the tag team champions, as if the titles were on the line.

I think Raw was excellent live, there was major energy in the air. NXT was fun, and the Daniel Bryan chants made my night. You probably will not be able to hear them on TV but they were there.

The Superstars match between Rey and Tyson was probably the best match of the night followed by the Miz and Morrison. We were mostly happy because these matches had some time behind them. We had said early on that we hoped Rey and Tyson got at least five minutes, but they did us better than that.

    Biggest Pop
    1. Rey Mysterio
    2. Cena
    3. Randy Orton
    4. HHH
    5. Undertaker

    Most Heat
    1. Vickie Guerrero
    2. Batista's Promo
    3. C.M. Punk
    4. Chris Jericho
    5. The San Francisco 49ers. I thought we were were going to be the only one's booing them, but the crowed was anti SF.

    NXT

    NXT taping for Tuesday night

Josh Matthews and Michael Cole came out first. Cole got some nice heat.

In the back, Striker said next week we'll find out the NXT standings. I didn't hear him say anything about an elimination though.

Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel came out first to Christian's music. Next out was the cornfed meathead Skip Sheffield with William Regal. Wade Barrett was solo.

    (1) Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel beat Skip Sheffield & Wade Barrett. Christian came out 30 seconds into the match for some reason. Maybe he was late. A pretty loud "Regal Sucks" chant greeted Regal ringside. Decent action. Slater and Gabriel picked up the win following a miscue big boot from Barrett to Sheffield. Slater with the pinfall.

Darren Young and David Otunga then came out with the Straight Edge Society. Huge heat. Out next were Daniel Bryan and Michael Tarver, who had Carlito with hin.

    (2) Darren Young (w/SES) & David Otunga beat Daniel Bryan & Michael Tarver (w/Carlito). Lots of SES playing to the crowd in this match. Punk is good. He's so different on NXT versus Smackdown. Funny stuff. Bryan had some good submission work during the match. Otunga then caught a glancing knee or shin from Bryan off the top rope, which produced a little blood from the nose. The finish saw Otunga pick up the fall on Bryan after his finisher..

And superstars as I was on the site!

After Raw went off the air...

    Superstars taping for Thursday night

Rey Mysterio came out to a huge pop. California loves little Rey! Next out was Tyson Kid with the rest of the Hart Dynasty.

    (1) Rey Mysterio beat Tyson Kidd (w/Hart Dynasty). Good wrestling here. There was some outside interference from the Dynasty and Tyson scored some good offense and nearfalls. Rey then picked up the win after the 619 and springboard splash. Crowd was way into this one - a very good match.

    (2) C.M. Punk (w/Straight Edge Society) beat JTG (w/Shad Gaspard). JTG and Shad came out to not much of a reaction. Punk and Straight Edge Society got more good heat for their second appearance of the night. Decent match. All the usual spots, then Punk won with the Go 2 Sleep.

I don't see how NXT is a reality show, it looks like most other wrestling shows to me.

The handling of Bryan seems bizarre.

Oh dear, Vince and more importantly SyFy won't be happy

By James Caldwell, Torch assistant editor

Last night's episode of WWE NXT averaged 1.08 million viewers, which was another 7.1 percent drop from last week's show.

NXT is approaching the "lowest ever" range for the Tuesday night timeslot on Syfy. The December 8 episode of ECW averaged 1.06 million viewers, which was the fewest number of viewers ever in the timeslot.

Since launching with 1.70 million viewers on February 23 and increasing to 1.73 million viewers on March 1, the NXT show has been on a downward slope with fewer viewers each week.

Comparing the viewership on March 1 to March 23 last night, it's a drop of 37.6 percent. The following is a look at the viewership trend.

    Week 1 - 1.70 million viewers
    Week 2 - 1.73 million viewers (up 1.8%)
    Week 3 - 1.30 million viewers (down 24.9%)
    Week 4 - 1.16 million viewers (down 10.6%)
    Week 5 - 1.08 million viewers (down 7.1%)

i really like NXT, think it is a good watch. I'm annoyed Bryan lost again this week - I could understand all the other losses, and the part they were playing in a storyline, but this weeks loss just doesn't fit imo. Maybe when I see how it actually played out it will fit better.

Hope the ratings start to improve soon - would like to see this show do well. Maybe they should start bringing the guys on to RAW/SD! a little - not to fight, but to evolve their NXT storylines a bit, might drum up some more interest.

I also think subsequent seasons of it stand a better chance if the winner, or the guys in general, from this show make a nice impact when they do move up the rosters - as people might gain more interest in where they came from.

    A word of warning,

It's highly likely that tonight's version of SmackDown on Sky Sports is the "Road to Wrestlemania" special which is airing right now in Australia. Last year, instead of SD being aired on the Friday night, they presented the road to Mania. SD was only on at the 6pm replay on the Saturday.

Both late night passages from SmackDown, according to the EPG, are titled "WWE SmackDown presents: The Road to Wrestlemania", which is the special. The 9am saturday morning passage though is just titled "WWE SmackDown presents:" and the description is the usual as a normal episode, so it's likely that 9am saturday morning is the Axxess show

And we get 'the road to Mania' instead of SD:mad::mad::mad:

The Hart/McMahon and HBK/'Taker video packages on NXT were fantastic.

though i see it as unlikely, i hope that the Taker/Michaels match is top of the bill. Deserves to be imo.

and im for taker to go 18-0, sorry sean ;)

Smackdown doesnt even seem like it was worth watching this week. 3 awful matches, low card matches... pfft.

    Not yet anyway.

Last night's 1 and the 1 this morning were both "Road to Mania" shows
