I am also splitting up from partner so am looking for somewhere on my own and its first time i been in this position, have always been able to afford my own place.

I forgot to ask all the questions when i was in there and have found no great help on web anywhere and cant get back down to the helath board for 2
weeks.

how does it work, do i find a place and pay deposit and mths rent then go back to welfare officer with all the stuff or do i have to find place and get them to approve it first?
