Any love for Risen around here?

I got it a couple of days ago, early days but I'm really enjoying it.

So far I'm finding it like a cross between Oblivion, Fable, Far Cry 2 and a bit of Monkey Island! I've read that it's very similar to the Gothic games but I've never played any of them.

The graphics are beautiful, lots of detail in every little thing, and one of the most atmospheric RPGs I've played. The whole Caribbean tropical island feel makes a nice change from the usual medieval fantasy worlds. Got to admit I'm a bit of a graphics junkie when it comes to RPGs, I like a good story but even more so I like being immersed in the world, and Risen does that, really immersive feel to it.

I like the combat system, the character development system, the faction system, the quests are interesting...voice acting can be a bit ropey but I'm finding it hard to knock the game on anything really! Real gem of a game in my opinion, that I've heard little or nothing about.
