A quick question or suggestion for the mods.

As someone who has hunted for quiet a few years, and in reading posts made by some of the anti/greens/activists they like to think of me and others like me as sub human, emotionless and unfeeling.

I hunt because I like to, I like seeing a good dog work more so than anything.
I like to eat meat and I like to be able to walk across the fields come home and have a nice bunny for myself or my dogs to eat.

I do not like to see animals suffer a long painful death.
I take care of my pets, I even like cats, have 2 strays I took in.

But yet we are constantly subjected to some very crude comments by the so called upholders of all moral issues. So I was just wondering if there could be a post where all these comments could be kept on record so we can direct these saintly individuals to take a read or even use it every now and then when the debates come up with the media. Seeing as they are very good at using the net and other forms of media to highlight how inhumane us hunters are.

i dont think anyone here whats to make any animals suffer, its not even about the shooting with me, its just getting out in nature away from work and people for a few hours, if the time is taken to watch wildlife for a few hours its great,

one thing i would suggest is that any new posts esp in the hunting forum be cept off of the list on the homepage, it will reduce the number of antis spamming up the threads

I'm not a hunter but I do engage in other fieldsports so I'm very sympathetic. One suggestion I'd make is stop starting threads that discuss shooting cats (particularly domesticated ones). I drop into this forum occasionally to have a look and it's the one issue that seems to draw fire from the anti's and from people who have no opinion, good or bad, about hunting.
