    Hello all,

I'm trying to book my hols to South America at the moment and looking to head to Peru and Bolivia for 3 to 4 weeks in May/June. Having done some quick scanning of the flight sites it seems possible to book a flight in and out of the same city for about €800. However, trying to book into Lima and back out of La Paz seems more difficult. The prices go way up when looking for one way flights. Any advice on how to go about booking this route or any advice on the best way to get cheapest flights. Should I be looking to book through a travel agent?

    Cheers,
    Doc

    Not sure if this helps.

I flew Cork-Amsterdam-Lima return in 2007--cost about €450 all in. I didnt go to Bolivia.

Might be worth your while flying back to Lima from La Paz...with LAN or another low cost regional airline.

I flew Dublin-Madrid-Santiago (Chile) and then three months later Lima-Madrid-Dublin in 2002 with Iberia. OK, it was some years ago but the best deal I got was got by ringing their Dublin office and asking what they could offer rather than on the net.
