    I hate to be a backseat moderator but threads of this type are against the charter.

    Mainly because they're actually rather annoying.

    Your first thread was closed when you made one for the main elections, why do you think this time is that different?

    If it’s the same Ciara Staunton that was Education Officer a few years ago I’d vote for anyone else before her. Absolute disaster of an Officer (part of the union that agreed to the huge charge for the new gym) and with a real negative attitude to students looking for help.

    The fact that she’s apparently in Fianna Fail and her party buddies are opening canvassing for her shows a new low in SU politics, at least when I was in college the youth branch types would buy a t-shirt or two and make an effort to pretend to be real students for the week.
