Just be aware that as of april 1st tyre quality will be looked at in an nct.
I can see alot of Bargin tyre centers dissapearing when coustomers come back saying "These tyres you sold me last month for 35 quid each failed the nct can i get my money back?":D

35-40 is the average price of that size in a lot of places at the mo, loads of places doing specials on 4 new tyres & fitting. Any particular areas your looking for em in Dublin?

If you're spending 35 euro a tyre fitted I hope you don't plan to drive the car afterwards...

How much would an average tyre cost in dealers and garages if you werent looking for the cheaper places?

Im on camskill (sp) and I have two Goodyear Duragrips for 118 euro including shipping.
Curious as to what they would be normally, if that price is indeed a good one.

You could buy on the web and get them fitted, may be cheaper. Tis what im considering.

Re: prices, Camskill do 4 Kumho Solus's for 186 Euro delivered, add 35-40 for fitting and you're talking roughly 56 euro each fitted. they do Federal Super Steels for a tiny bit more.
They also do Falken Sinceras for the same price.

    Avoid Sava/Triangle etc.

Camskill 195/65 prices (delivery E26 extra for 4)

You may also find it beneficial to change to 205/60/15 tyres as they are cheaper in a lot of cases, rolling radius is within 1% of 195/65, so providing you wouldn't have rubbing on full lock they would be worth looking at since you're changing all 4.

Shouldn't matter how long they'll be in business as long as they can do the job in March! I seriously doubt you can get a good quality tyre for that money though.

Pretty much any tyre specialist I've past in the last 2 weeks has specials on and the average price on that size if about 40 quid, mark up on tyres is mad anyway so they can well afford to take money off em & still make profit.

And with the comment on how long they will be in business ... most of them are years, the one I past today in Finglas with the 40quid ones is there yonks
