Interested in doing a TEFL

    Hello everyone,
I am interested in studying a TEFL course and working abroad. It would be a big change for me and since I'm not too keen on this place it would be great to go somewhere else.

I have a couple of questions,

    1. Is it really as easy as it's made out to be, i.e. study a short course, find a job easily enough, go abroad and earn a relatively high wage?
    2. Can anyone tell me which countries are best? I was thinking maybe Japan, I know most people go to Asia or South America. Would the continent be a good choice either? I am mostly thinking in terms of safety (single female) and not *too* much of a culture shock (ha ha).

    Hi Magenta,

I'm looking to do the very same thing i want to go end of May to Barcelona, I am going alone also(little nervous) I have done lot of research on it and it supposed to be an intense but rewarding 4 week course the school helps you set up your cv afterwards and sends them out to language schools, I have emailed the school in Barcelona with some questions they have been very helpful and I got quick replies.if your thinking about doing your tefl in Barcelona let me know.
