Dennings near the Spawell off the M50 are very good.

    Are you covered under insurance?

yeah i am but dont want to go thru them, the new dent has no creases on it, do you think i could push it out myself? is all this really expensive??

unfortunately i don't have the firefox extension that allows me to see through my computer and look at the car in your drive.

Bring it into a few crash repair places and get an estimate. As i mentioned above, Dennings is a good start.

    Post a pic.

You might get away with a SMART repair

    Small Medium Area Repair Technology.

That is the sum total of my knowledge - basically means some jobs can be done without a full respray.

Paintdoctor on here does that sort of thing afaik

ah cool, theres just a few tiny scratchs and a bump, one of the girls said i could try fixing it with a plunger but im not too sure about that, its not too bad but its my first car

Beware snowy. I know someone who got rear ended and left with small dent under bumper and side panel slightly damaged. Brought it to a main dealer who quoted 2,200 euro, brought it to an independant panel beater who did it for 375 euro. The main dealer had included new bumper, light housing, ( light wasnt broke) back panel, side panel, and paint work.

John Quirke in Peamount Industrial Estate, Adamstown is a body repair wizard. And he's very honest and competitve with his prices.
I only have his personal number. PM me and I'll forward it on to you.

If you're around Dublin, I suggest going to Trimtech in Airside Swords. http://www.trimtech.ie/ Here's the website, send them an e-mail with a picture of the dent and they will give you a price. best of luck

The Garage sends the car to the panel beater so you get charged twice and at mechanics rates.

Keep getting quotes and if you need a part go to a scrap dealer and he might suggest a panel beater..

Some places rip off, others don't. Also though some places do a dogs dinner of a job while others do an excellent job. There isn't necessarily a relation between any of the above.

Went in here the other day, the lad that i asked for a quote was dead on and quoted me a very reasonable price. Only problem is I dont know when I will be In Dublin again soon, so anyone know of a good place that repairs dents/scratches in Mid-West Region, Limerick or Tipp?

If it's Limerick the only man for the job is Joe Crash Repairs (Jcr) in the Eastway business park. You will not find a better done job in Limerick.
