I get them done all the time, but only get it if you want to get one done don't get one if you think you should have one!
Let me tell you about embarrasment, you have absoloutley nothing to be embarrassed about. I'm actually training to be a beautician and believe me we don't even think about it (well obviously we do think about what we are going to do!).
If you do want to do it, don't go for the whole lot just try a bikini line or extended bikini line wax. :)

For starters just get a regular bikini wax. You don't even have to take your undies off. :)

I agree just go for the regular one first and see how you get on, it does sting:D Better than rash from shaving though!!

I've had it done millions of times (even hollywoods and brazilians... ouchy!) and never been embarassed. The beauticians are usually great - they just get on with it and will always put you at ease. And believe me they've seen it all so pretty much unshockable. Definitely go to a salon that specialises in waxes and check that the beautician has plenty of experience - cheapest is not always the best option when it comes to waxes. Also request 'hot wax' - this is much less irritating, particularly if it's your first time.

Good luck! and you won't look back ;)

My g/friend is a beautician and does them all the time...nothing to be embarrassed about.

She does say that with some women it is obvious they have had sex that morning judging by the aroma...so just bear that is mind..;)
