Does anyone know if there is a running club in Kilcock? I know St Coca's Athletics club caters for juniors but does it have any training for adults? Also does anyone know if the running track in Bawnogue is the standard size - i.e. 1 lap= 1/4 mile.

Hi gingerlilwhite - St. Cocas mainly a juvenile / junior level but also do have a number of senior / masters that compete - contact details available here Track is standard 400m.

Also worth having a look at Donadea Running club which is also convenient here (Ultraman and others will tell you how great they are) or if you fancy travelling a bit further east to Leixlip to a really friendly and welcoming club you could try Le Chéile AC

    Hi Lecheile,

Thanks for this information. I'm actually originally from Leixlip, would like to check out the club there. Is there a group the runs a few times a week...I'm not at a competitive level...

Wednesday evening we have a Fit4Life session that caters for complete beginners and up. There are also other sessions and group runs at other times during the week for those that want to do a bit more. (see some of the recent activity here)

Session starts at 8pm on the Le Chéile track behind the Leixlip Amenities centre. PM me if you have any further questions.
