Hey I was hoping somebody knowledgeable here might be able to help me out or clarify something!

I have an iPhone 3GS (32gb) which i purchased over in Australia on VodafoneAU.

The phone was factory unlocked and i was wanting to use it (or maybe sell it) when I came back.

Now that im back, it doesnt seem to be taking my irish o2 simcard.
I rang up Apple customer care and gave them my IMEI and they confirmed that the phone is showing up as factory unlocked on their system and should be working fine, as did o2 but i just dont seem to be getting any signal bars

    Anyone any ideas confused.gif thanks

Yeah, my sim card is active and works fine in a different phone. havent tried a different operator yet, will give that a try (but i really want to stick with my o2 sim) thanks for the suggestion

EDIT: Somebody told me to just 'restore' the phone on itunes, I did that and it works perfectly now with my o2 sim. :) Problem solved
