Getting car details off websites

How do you go about getting your car details off these car registration web sites? Seems that our lovely bureaucrats have sold all our car informations to the private sector, well mate, I don't want my car details available to the world.

So, how do I get my details taken off, or in our little free society is this not possible?

there are no details about you available anywhere, the information is regarding the car, it's reg details and tax details.

These details are necessary for the car industry, insurance industry and also the public when buying a car.

What exactly is your problem with this, or are you just ranting for the sake of it due to paranoid conspiracy theories?

    +1
any details on the websites in question are easily obtainable by looking at the car in question when its parked in a public area and are as such in the public domain
