    Hello

My wife and her sister were involved in a head on car accident. She was completley in the right as the other driver is being done for dangerous driving.

We are going to sue the other driver for lost time of work/injuries etc.

Can you recommend a really good solicitor for us that specialises in this and good at it. We are based in north cork by the way so anyone down here might be better.

    Thanks folks

Curious to know, but wouldn't his insurance (assuming he had some) compenstate for your losses?

Whatever about loss of time/work etc., the most important thing to check up are the injuries (not on a big compo claim here). I had a car accident 11 years ago, was in the right also. The driver of the other car was convicted of dangerous driving. I broke some bones and it was all sorted out and I was awarded compensation for loss of earnings, injuries etc. All bones mended fine, BUT you are never 100% the same afterwards. Look after yourself properly. Make sure you get the proper medical attention, do physio if referred and so on. Don't be in any rush to settle and make sure you are fully recovered (or as much as you can be) so you can see if there are any lingering niggles.

Even still, the driver and or the owner of the car must be sued. His insurance will provide an indemnity. If he has no insurance, the MIBI will have to be joined as a co-defendant.
