Jg M16 problem

    sweet gun happy enough with it.... but i can hear the spring/echo through the stock and it just sounds sh*t so besides getting a new stock has anyone got any ideas??

    na fella the front end is held together with more then a broken screw and some gaffer tape

    that would be a taped and dyed bolt thank you very much but to more pressing matter of ur hollow stock did you try some expanding foam?or maybe a novelty horn?

    i tried an old sock (clean) but didnt work, i reckon its actually through the "connecting" tube as opposed to the stock and if i use anything permanent then i wouldnt be able to change stock after....

    how do you feel about opening your gearbox???
    if your ok with it you could fit a new spring or a silent piston head or fit a fiber washer or rubber grommet on the spring guide, all of these will dampen the spring noise.

    i used to know this guy that put egg cartons on hes walls to stop music upsetting the naighbours,you could try stuff it with some of those.

    when i take the stock off and fire it sound is quite nice, not really up for opening the gearbox yet trying to find a solution without that yet

    you could try putting a rubber washer behind the head of the bolt that holds the stock in place.

    Did you try shooting it with the stock off but with the bolt screwed in?

    kinkstr yup just did a bit of difference stock defo amplifies the reverb/echo
