Boxing club recommendation - complete beginner

Are there boxing clubs whereby a trainer will basically just teach you how to hit a punchbag?

I am in Dublin area, complete beginner, not very fit. Not that interested in taking up proper boxing, basically just want to hit things and release aggression. Just looking for a hour a week or so. ;)

I would be surprised if any club would take you on if your not interested in fighting in the future and are only interested in doing 1 day a week. You wouldn't be offering the club anything, trainers are busy and teaching you how to box when you have no intention of setting foot in the ring is not a good use of their time. You would also be taking up space on equipment which could be used by their boxers.

There are courses run by some gyms where you can do bag and pad work but that wouldn't be the same thing as a boxing club

    I am in Dublin area,

Dublin is quite big, where exactly are you looking as you might be able to get more help..

ps, hitting a bag in the gym is not boxing without instruction, thats punching and not very good use of a bag if not done right.

i train a fight club that is full of adult beginners who just want to learn boxing and most will never step foot in the ring

Rush Boxing club and Rush Martial Arts head coach.

    Nothing to add to this.
