Grit and Engine bay

    Howdy. Doing some work on the car today(installing HIDs, but thats for another thread) and noticed the engine bay has an awful lot of salt/grit granules even though I have an undertray.

    Is there an easy way to get rid of them?

    I don't know of any easy way, you could use a power hose, covering the electric bits, a lot of people will tell you this is a bad idea though

    pressurised air might be an alternative ?

    (because dissolving the salt without being 100% sure that it's actually all gone doesn't sound like such a good idea either)
