Hi all, last night I watched Without Limits (about Steve Prefontaine) great movie first time seeing it. He was one hell of a runner.

Is there any other decent running movies that you would recommend??

Spirit of the Marathon is pretty good if you're into marathons.

Without limits is in my top 10 of all time, as is Prefontaine, the other pre movie. both are streets better than the boring chariots of fire imo.

    Thanks all.

I'm running my first Marathon this year (Dublin) I've seen this movie its good alright. Any other Marathon based movies or documentaries?

The fear is kicking in about running 26.2 miles - I've a lot of respect for all the people that have done a Marathon amazing stuff really.

I've read Dean Karnazes' book 50:50 - and I hear there's a documentary that was made while he was running the 50 marathons in 50 consecutive days in the 50 US States.

Haven't seen the movie but I'd like to. The book is worth a read also.
