    DCU have started an Olympic Lifting club recently. I believe they have their own gym and equipment on campus. Haven't got any contact details though

    cool thanks thats what i wanted to know, just see if anyone else has one and therefore it makes it easier to set one up here(even though im not sure there defo isnt one here)

    Where's 'here'? There's a weightlifting club in UL, I think there's something in Carlow IT as well. DCU, as mentioned above. That's all I know of at the moment.

    If you're reallly interested in setting up a weightlifting club in another university (weightlifting as in snatch, C+J) you should contact the Irish weightlifting association, there's support available (in terms of coaching training and potentially some help with equipment). PM me and I'll send you email addresses.

    im in ul is their club still going though? i havnt seen any media from them since last year i dont think i found an old forum post about them, ill have to check with clubs and socs to see if its still going and what its up to
