Does it have to be copper or just a copper colour ? Acess Plastics do alot of stuff other than plastics, aliminumum sheets, plactic sheets with a metal face. They are in Ashbourne, any of the Daves (I think theres 3 !!) will help ya out, all dead on guys.

Robert A. Copeland & Sons Ltd.
    Coppersmiths
    Dunshaughlin Industrial Estate.

They supply copper in sheets, rolls, strips etc. for roofing.
Could be what you are looking for.

Picked my sheet of copper, 2000x1000x0.7 up today. 142 euros including vat.
They have every conceivable metal material in there. Expensive, but it fits the bill for me

    Hey folks,

I need a small piece of copper sheet - 14mm x 14mm in dimension, and between 1.2mm and 1/5mm thick. Preferred grade is C101, because it's for electrical conductivity (I'm modifying my laptop).

Does anyone know where I can find this in or near Dublin? I tried Amari, but they only do large sheets, which would be way too costly. The guy at Amari suggested a sheet metal fabricator, but this is so outside of my world that I don't even know where to start...

Any ideas greatly suggested! I'm trying to think broadly - are there stores that would sell this kind of thing for other purposes?

    Thanks

How about copper pipe. just cut it open and hammer it flat. Use a blow torch if it work hardens. You could then rub it on different grades of sandpaper to polish it up and flatten it more if needed. Start off with coarse, and end up around 600 grit or higher.

Try the model shop near the bottom of capel st or Mark's models in Hawkin's street
