    Hey all

I am thinking about doing two things at the moment that would require me moving my adobe cs suite....

either replacing my hard drive on my iMac or buying a new macbook pro (well second hand, but new to me)

either one of these will necessitate me moving my adobe cs suite from it's current location, but I don't have any of the install discs following an office move....

will this be a problem for me, or is it easy enough to move it...

either onto the new machine or onto an external hd and then back to the new hd....

    cheers

    J

If the new machine runs Snow Leopard, Migration Assistant will move pretty much everything over including Music, photos, settings, mail; even your third party software; in essence your Adobe will migrate as well. It takes a while but it's worth it IMO

Clone it! Use something like built in Disk Utility or Mike Bombich's Carbon Copy Cloner.

Download the trial and use your existing serial details. If you've lost those too there is a way to recover from Adobe once you prove you bought it.

unfortuntely I don't knw what cloning is.... I'll have a look at DU now...

also unfortunately I'm on cs while adobe are on cs4 so I can no longer download a trial....

Use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the existing system drive on to the new hard drive, then physically replace the current drive with the new drive.
