That's a wicked linup. The journey sounds like absolute hell though. Would you not just fly to Frankfurt and get a bus from there?

Feck that journey - we did the 3 hour train journey back from I Love Techno to Amsterdam after the gig twice and that was bad enough.

Enjoy Timewarp though, would've loved to go but getting too old for that craic now.

yeh i know, the journey down will be great craic, the journey back will be literally HELL! bottle of captain morgan and a bottle of orange might do the trick!

this is the package we went for, 2 of the people goin done it last year, same trip and said it was great craic!

kinda wished we had just booked the flights closer though!!

I done the same myself. It was okay, we kinda got our second wind on the train for some reason so by the time we arrived back in Amsterdam we didnt bother sleeping at all. Also, the bitch of a ticket inspecter woke me up to say I was in first class, despite the carriage being totally empty.... had to go through another empty carriage to get to 2nd class.

    Cant fookin wait for this.

Flying into Frankfurt on Friday morning, going to cocoon on Friday night and then on to Mannheim on the Sat, the ticket for the gig itself doubles up as a train and bus ticket. Coming home on Monday night, cant wait, I literally have butterflies as I write this!

why would you get a coach from london to it, that sounds like a nightmare, i went to this about 2 year ago and got the eurostar to brussels and then switched trains to mannheim, comfortable, spacious trains, took about 6 hours, the bus will be horrible

were going with techno tourism group, one of those goin was here before and went this way, said the coach over was great craic.

I'm heading too with two of my mates, flight to Frankfurt tomorrow morning; drop the bags in the hotel have a look around grab something to eat, start hitting the gargle then wind in some seedy stripclub and get some diddies put in my face and that's all before the MAJOR session on the Saturday and Sunday which frankly i'm terrified of. Journey home will be a nightmare, fcuk it though.

    Absolutely buzzin!!

Have a blast anyone who's heading

Not great sound quality but was amazed to see this uploaded,
    Hawtin rarely allows it.

I heard reports of Richie's Plastikman set being ****e?

haven't heard it myself, and dont really want to listen to a bad quality recording as it might hinder my opinion?!?!

You have to be a real plastikman fan to enjoy it,
Personally i thought it was meh, some good bits but just not danceable

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,528 ✭✭✭copeyhagen

ok, still bolloxed, think i pigged up some pig flu off the crazy italians and spanish on the coach.

plastikman was garbage, like really bad, vath played a good stompin set, to be followed by that egotistical wanker who just brought everyone down with his garbage.

gave him 20 mins then pissed back to garnier, who imo was the best by a mile, man was amazin. were actually in this video at 30 seconds
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DzyGFUYDUc

vath was brilliant, garnier was amazin, seen a bit of rebbot and he was class, dubfire was good, villalobos, carrera and loco dice were ridiculous too.

i left at 1pm, in a jarvis cocker, place had no signs of letting up anytime soon.

coach home was a fookin nightmare.

pickin up pig flu was also a nightmare.

    flight next year so

thats exactly it, vath played a good 4 hours at a decent pace, then hawtin come in and builds a break up for about 5 mins, only to kick it back in slower than his intro! done this over and over and over till garnier made me realise how bad it actually was

epic fail. few people seemed to like it though the room was packed
