What extra HD channels can i tune in.

    Hi all,

    I just got HD in today. But i'm wondering are there any extra HD channels i can tune in to my box as i do with SD ( bbc3 etc )

    ITV HD (only shows some programmes, matches etc) and BBC HD. Notsure of the codes, the sky installer put them on.

    Thats cool, i can watch the sport in HD and thats what i want.

    Six nations on sat:D

    But no F1:(

    I'd imagine the F1 is shown on BBC HD. Didn't see any of it last weekend but i'm sure they'd show it on their HD channel.

    Na,

    from the BBC site

    We will not be able to provide F1 coverage in high definition this year. The BBC relies on Formula 1 Management (FOM) for the provision of all of its live pictures and as such the broadcasting of high definition pictures is dependent upon whether FOM uses HD cameras or not:(

    Hard to believe that one of the most expensive and richest sports in the world ins't recorded/broadcast in HD.
    Whats Berne up too?

    Sky Germany had the grand prix on their Sky Sport HD channel on sunday but it was upscaled by the looks of it.

    I agree that its baffling how one of the worlds biggest sports is not available in HD.

    You can now tune in the new ITV1HD, a 24 hour channel at Channel "10000" has shown up on 10.832 H 22000 5/6

    This is showing ITV London upscaled and some HD programming since yesterday (St Patricks day)

    I have it from a fairly reliable source that there may be an announcement from CH4 re CH4HD and E4HD joining freesat in the not too distant future....Fingers crossed!!!
