    Hi guys and girls,

I'm currently doing a project for college on Irish pilots.
I'm looking for the following info:
    Age
    Aircraft type
    Captain or First Officer
Net Salary per month or year in Euros
I don't require the company or location.
I have received a good number already however, I need more!
    Here's an eg.

    Age: 37
    Aircraft: ATR 72
    First Officer
    Average of E3400/month

Hope there are lots of pilots on here willing to help me out
Irish only but do not have to be based in Ireland or flying for an Irish company.
    Thank you.

Think people will be able to figure that our from the aircraft type. 3 Irish airlines (CityJet can count as 4th), maybe 5 (6) types between them.......

Ya I don't care what airline they work for, if people figure it out as you say I don't care.
I just need info. on Irish pilots and they don't have to be working for one of the Irish airlines. Just have to be of Irish nationality and flying for a living.
Thanks for the reply, hoping for more though!

Thanks FidesEtRobur, I'm aware of ppjn.com and it has given me some info. however, my paper is on Irish professionals and their salaries and I need pilots and as close to accurate figures as possible.
I guess there aren't many pilots on here or at least not many willing to share their details! A PM would suffice too guys and girls.
Thanks to Cuterob, is that genuine though? 21K per month for a captain?! If so I chose the wrong career!
And, thanks to TrackBarChaser, doing better than any 24 yr old I know!
    More welcome please!!

There won't be many working pilots here in truth. Plus I'm not telling you my pay as it's embarrassing:D Also I presume you mean airline pilots which I'm not.

Have you tried posting on PPRuNe? Plenty of Irish there.

    Hi airvan,

Thanks for the info. I looked at PPRuNe but felt a little intimidated by all the pro pilots there speaking...well...pilot talk!! I will try there in a few days though if this site doesn't give me any more info.
Also, it's not just airline pilots. Any Irish pilot who flies for a living, Air Corps, Coast Guard, flight instructor etc will be just as good as the previous contributors of the 777 and 330!
    Thanks,
    Ant.

Air Contractors flying ATRs and Airbuses. Everyone forgets them being night cargo and often marked in customer colours sitting out the daytime hours at airports all over Europe.

Used to work for them myself at one stage.

Ya it may seem like that but you should see my loan repayments! And I have no house! Only a fATPL to show for it!!
If I posted a similar post on PPRuNe I'd be lashed for "complaining about having a job"!!
Thats' why I like it here!!
