Hi, not sure if you can help here. But my girlfriends parents computer was attacked yesterday by a virus. I havent had a chance to look at the system yet but they didnt have any internet security (I didnt know this).

I use McAfee but they couldnt download this yesterday so they went with Norton instead. They have seemed to have gotten back most of their programs however some come up with "No application found" such as Microsoft office and when I asked them to try system restore if asked for a program to use. Does anyone know what program I should be using with this? Or would anyone have a fix for the Office app?

    Thanks
    Mc Love

I worked it out. Seems it was down to file associations being screwed up. Downloaded a reg file from Doug Knox which has sorted it :)
