need help with integration question

    Hi Im having trouble trying to sort out this integration question and was wondering if somebody could help. It is

    The integral of (1 - e^(-z/zo))dz

    zo is a variable so it doesnt matter

    First of all: the 1 is not a problem, since you just integrate it separately to get z to add on at the end.

    [latex]\displaystyle\int{1-e^{\frac{-z}{z0}}}\,dz=\int{1}\,dz-\int{e^{\frac{-z}{z0}}}\,dz[/latex]

    For the exponential term you can use a standard integral, you just need to properly define the constant part "a".
    [latex]\displaystyle\int{e^{a\,x}}\,dx=\frac{e^{a\,x}}{a}[/latex]
