insurance sales agent -commission only

    Hi

    I just saw on jobs.ie that theres and insurance company looking for the above..has anyone had any experience doing such a role and is there money to be made in it?> Im really tempted but something is telling me to look into it

    It's hard to say, I've done commission only sales in the past (not insurance) and some people have a knack for it, others don't, and for those that don't it can be arduous, demoralizing and expensive.

    It's also one of those jobs where you really do have to save what you have coming in constantly and build up a good reserve because there will be times when the money just won't come in, or you won't make what you expected.

    Sales, of any sort, in a commission only environment in tough. For some it is great and for others just not worth it.

    Sorry I can't be of more help than that... If you've got the skills and attitude it can be great.
