Bray Assembly Rooms

Hi all, I was looking at the National Library old images of Co. Wicklow and they have a pic of the Turkish Baths/Assembly Rooms in Bray. What ever happened to that building? Do you know where exactly it was?

They were on the Quinsborough Road somewhere apparently ...

Fascinating stuff. Compared to most other countries in the world, Ireland does seem very bad at preserving it's historic buildings.

Im 99% sure that was where the Boulevard centre is now, across the road from Dunnes Stores.

They were indeed opposite Dunnes on the Quinsborough Road. I believe there was a cinema operated there at sometime in the 1940/50s. A cousin of mine acquired several tops off the minarets during the demolition.
