    Hi,

just wondering if any Austin Allegro owners out there would be interested in organising a meeting to show and display the cars somewhere central to all.

Or if any other Austin owners are interested also, please reply or PM me. i am willing to do the organising etc etc.

Would be nice to see a few Allegros in the one place in Ireland, not sure how many are owned in ireland but heres putting the call out.

    Thanks

I was gonna say they were original, but when i looked again they look like halfords stick on lettering?

there was an allegro for sale not so long ago same colour but it had a sun roof

I'd say I have the car about a year. The letters on the bonnet don't really bother me alhough I'd prefer if they weren't there too. Suppose I could get them off using a heat gun, but then you'd notice how the paint will be a slightly different shade where they were!!!!!!!(At least that's what happened when I removed the GB of the back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i've seen a few others with the lettering the very same, on a few Allegros and a few Maxis.

The blue one with the sun roof is on donedeal I think. looks like it needs tidying though.

Looks like I'm the only Allegro owner in Ireland willing to be seen in public with one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What sort of condition is it in, can you find out anymore info on it or whether its for sale or not

    Thanks

This thread has lost its way.

Are there any Allegro owners out there or any other BL/BMC owners wanting to round up the cars for a meeting

Good luck with this, but I'm not sure if you're going to find a lot of Allegros out there.

    This is a rare Six!

Not sure how many are still in Ireland, but less than 100 left in mainland UK.
