Am going to start doing some of my running on grass soon. There's a nice park nearby, nice short grass. Is there any type of runner more suited for running on grass?

    Zak.

I used my oldest (nearing retirement) pair of standard running-shoes. If it was very wet and muddy, I might put on one of my pairs of Inov-8 trail shoes (only because I have them), but otherwise, no, standard running shoes all the way.

I also use normal runners. Of late I have started to run a lot of my grass based runs barefoot. Always feels weird running when I put the runners back on afterwards.
