some tech questions about EI tatl dub-mco

    Is it still the case that all EI planes to the states including those on the Orlando route are fitted with the angled lie flat seats up front and have the new IFE system?
    Dub-mco is all economy but with the premier seats up front that you can purchase for €275 after you've booked your flight.
    Thats worth it if they are the newer angled lie flat seats? especially for a near 10 hour flight.
    I presume none of the older type are still in service or were brought back in service trans atlantic.

    Does anyone know what type of noise reducing headphone jack EI use on their system or what would be compatible with it?

    G'day....you are correct in what you say about EI...they now operate all their A330 Aircraft with the new business class layout of "lie flat" seats and the Panasonic eX2 IFE System. So you can therefore, as you said, pay the extra fee and avail of the Business class seats (minus the service).
    Business Class seats use any ordinary Single prong 3.5mm Headset jack. The Economy Seats use the Double Prong Headsets in them, but you can still use a single prong headset but with the obvious reduction!
