Have a XPS730 with a leaking cooling system (H2C). Anyone know of a place where I might be able to get it repaired. Really don't want to have to fork out for a new one :(

Unfortunately it's not under warranty as it was bought on the outlet store a year and a half ago. The liquid cooling system is known to be suspect on these machines with numerous problems with units to the point where Dell stopped supplying them with the 730x model.

Rang Dell today to enquire about a replacement and was told that it would cost a few hundred to send out a refurbished cooling unit so ordered the air cooled unit instead for 60sterling. To be honest the liquid one is just overkill anyway.

A bit of PTFE tape would do the job :pac:
