USIT-Passport late!!

    hi guy,

    i was just wondering does anybody know will usit accept passport copies after the closing date. Had a bit of trouble actually getting my passport, applied three weeks ago for it by passport express, went up to the offices and was told it would be next week before i have it. the problem is the closing date for usit is the 19th.

    bascially all i want to know is will my summer be ruined because of something i could not control, any help in answering this question will greatly be appricated!!! thanks!!:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

    You really need to talk to USIT.

    If you are really stuck, see if the Israeli Embassy can sort out a passport. ;)

    I applied for my visa at the end of December in time for the "free visa" offer - however I hadn't renewed my passport - I asked the girl who I was booking it with was it ok to email a scan of my renewed passport as soon as I received it and there was no bother with this - it was about 3 weeks late, and it didn't cause any problems.

    It probably depends on the USIT person who's booking it, but you should be ok - would be better to ring USIT and ask them just to be on the safe side.
