    Hello,

I am currently undertaking a thesis on newspaper coverage of events in Cork during the war of independence. There seems to be relatively little on this subject, apart from Keneallly's 'The Paper Wall' and Walshe's 'The News from Ireland', so I was wondering if anybody here can come across books which deal with the subject or pehaps even make reference to it?

If anybody here has even some general information on the topic or advice they would care to share with me then I would be most grateful. I'm very much an 'amateur' historian, so any help is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    David

The reality was there was a lot of censorship.
