they're not cheap to reuse and can't be used indoors... they do look better in all fairness

I have both the Thunder B and ACM "Snicker" MK.II rubber fraggrenade.

I would recommend the Thunder B ten fold.
But the Snicker grenade can be effective.......if you get used to it.

What I mean by that is how much gas to put in it and how much oil to use. If you use too much of either (and I mean only a little too much) it'll go off in your hand, use too little and you'll be waiting 2-3 minutes (or more) before it goes off.

I was looking at this grenade, it seems to what I'm looking for - reusable, gas based, and cheap.

    but is it any good?

Hey I know the price is a bit much but the tornado IS THE BEST airsoft grenade on the market never fails, always goes off and reusable and can be turned into a thunder b style bang device for 20 euro quite the nice grenade. Has yet to fail me. Then you got this one but this requires a manual load like the one you suggested.
These are the best I know of and you will be hard pushed to find anyone who can say something bad about the Tornado other than the price but all you will ever need to buy is gas after you buy this and a speed loader for it.

Just because I'm an awkward b*stard.
My mate brought one of these up to my house a few days ago, no idea why, but as usual, madness ensued. Gassed it up, loaded it with some BBs and pulled the pin. 15 seconds later, nada. We out it in a box and left it. An hour later, it finally went off. Cleaned it for a good 20 minutes. Tried a second time, same procedure, nothing after 30 seconds, threw it against the ground, nothing.
Thunder B: Pull pin, 3 seconds later, boom.
    Guess who wins?

+1 on the tornado, its expensive (got mine cheap on here) but i'd gladly pay full price if i manged to loose it.

Have a thunder b as well and for the price they are great, but looking at realisticly the tornado costs more but all you need from then on is gas and a bit of maintenace and she'll last ya.

was it lubed up, was the pressure let build for 5 min and finally was this the first time it was used?

I have heard of this on their first use, but not after a good lubing and one use hmmmmmmmmmm will look into it.

*edit* looks like the first gen had some timer issues and some pressure issues but after that I can't find anything that a good lube job cant fix.

Followed all the instructions in the manual, was lubed before use, bought a few months ago, etc, etc...

Well I've heard pretty much nothing but horror stories about tornado grenades, thats why I never went near them. Combined with that fact that they're €100, I didn't want to take the risk.
