Very powerful start from France. Putting width on the game from the start. Parra and Harinordoquy both combining well for the first try. Italians may be in for a very long afternoon. 10-0 France.

Think the Italians could be in for a fairly long day alright. France seem to be making ground at will.

That yellow ain't gonna make like any easier for them either.

    Great try.

    Great kick aswell

If France maintain this intensity for the remainder, well it doesn't bear thinking about. Guess they could switch off? Italy, so good defensively, also don't seem to have bothered to turn up,

Italy seem to be improving slightly - their defence is slightly less porous anyway.

I'm not a fan of Tebaldi though. Think Canavosio is the better player.

Their lineout is killing them as well.

    Marty again...

    Harinordoquy made it.

Sublime stuff from France. Beautiful skill, great vision and creativity. Running riot.

    What a try!

Jesus, that was brilliant from France. All came from Poitrenaud deciding to counterattack rather than kick.

Yeah, and there was me thinking that was against the rules these days...;)

Nick Mallet acting quickly with regard to the scrum half.

Should have been a penalty to Italy there.

Harinordoquy steals two Italian lineouts in succession.

Looking odds on for player of the 6N IMO.

I know this is cruel on the Azzuri, but I could watch France play like this all day long.

Hey lads. Posted in the streams sticky but got no reply. Anyone got a stream for this? Cheers.

    Pitch is cutting up rough...

Parra with an Eoin Reddan kick ahead before halftime. :D

France only made 18 tackles in the first half, tells the whole story.

I expect France to put 20-30 more points on the board in the second hafl. particularly with the quality of substitutes to come on.

He's always been a class act but his problem is being too soft mercurial to play well away from home in the rain

Andreu in for try number 4.

Having a cracker this guy. Cutting them to shreds in midfield. Try France/Jauzion.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    This is beautiful to watch.

Break by Andreu, beautiful hands to Jauzion, who touches down.

Yachvili on for trinh-duc...Parra to out half. Odd. But I guess they can experiment such is their dominance.

They could put me at outhalf at this point and still waltz it.

The Italians are trying their best but going nowhere.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,591 ✭✭✭✭Aidric

There is plenty more tries in this for the French once they keep attacking them out wide.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Brilliant by Malzieu, another sweet offload, Lapandry gets in for the try.

Correct...as just borne out by events on the field;). Another lovely try. Poor bloody eyeties, I feel for them...

God help monotonous England next week if France show up.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 28,101 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

Italians deserved that. They've kept plugging away. Goes to show what they can do if they stop kicking all their possession away (poorly).

Try Italy, well done! Even though thought I spied a forward pass in the middle of it....

Not a bad try at all. Just 5/6 more now and ye're in with a chance Italy!:pac:
