Secondary teaching from a primary teaching degree?

    Hello I was just wondering if there is any way of going into secondary school teaching from a primary teaching degree? If I was to do English and Geography in St Pat's as part of my degree would I be qualified to teach them in secondary school after completing my hDip? Thanks
